Only few day left, we will finish our fall quater of ESL class. Two hours aday four days a week, but we have alot of thing to do. Speliing, writing, speaking... The one I like is spelling.
Everyday when I come in to this class, the first thing I do is go to the spelling list. It looks like fun but it helpful. First, I go to "Teach me" on the spelling list I can learn how to spell right for each letter, for whole word and then I can learn the example for a whole sentence. I do that for few time, then I go to "Test me". I listen the word and I type it on the list. This part helps me the vocabulary. If I type the word wrong I will do it again until I get it right. The last part I print the list with the 100 points, I'm very happy on this part.
I do it veryday in the class my spelling is better now, my vocapbulary is better. I know alot of new words. I hope this program will help me improve English and helpe me prepare for my future.

The long day
It was a very long and funny day of the week. The snow falling right on Monday, in that morning we didn't go out. I thought we better stay home for safety. Later on I felt hungry, I thought I might be able to do something special for my family on that day. I had a plan to cook some lunch for my family, but when I started to do it I didn't find something I needed in my refrigerator. I thought it would be fine if I went to the supermaket to bought some stuff.
I was driving my car and went to the town it took me 1/2 hour to got there. Not too bad, usually it takes about 15 minutes to get there. When I got to the supermaket, it was a little snow, so I went around and bought somethings I need for my lunch that day and some for Thanksgiving dinner. I thought the weather not too bad so I didn't hurry to back home early. I kept shopping and was thingking about thanksgiving dinner, because it was my first time to have the dinner with my husband's family. I was thinking how many guests I would invite and how could I make a wonderful turkey. I kept thinking and bought all the things I would need.
After I finished shopping, it was a time I went home. I did'nt know when I was in the srore the snow was falling heavily. When I was driving back home, I had a traffic problem because of the snow. Everyone was driving very slow, they moved little and little. I knew it was late for my family to have lunch, how I could go faster. The car in front of me didn't move all people stucked. They moved very little of a time. That day I forgot my cell phone at home, so I didn't call my husband and tell him about the traffic and told him get some foods for my kids. All cars were still moving slowly, until I got home it was dark and it took me 3 hours to get home.
When I got home my husband was happy and angry. Happy because I got home safely, Angry because of hungry and worry. On that day insteaded of make my family something special I made them worry and instead of cooking lunch, I made a dinner. After we finished dinner I was too tired with a long day long time spent driving. I hope snow won't fall again I didn't want another long day like that, I didn't do some special things I thought.

Learning About Life
Obama's mother wanted him to get the best education possible. In 1971, she sent him to the Punahou School, in Honolulu, Hawaii. As someone with a white mother and a black father, Barack had to figure out he fit in with the other kids there. Obama continued to seach for his identity as a student at occidental College, in California, and student at University, in New York.
After finishing his studies at Columbia in 1983, Obama took a job in New Jork. However, he felt that he should br doing more to help others. Obama moved to Chicago in 1985 to work with people in poor neighborhoods.
Discovering His Roots
Growing up, Obama was little of his father. Barack Obama Sr. moved back to Kenya when his son was young, and he visited young Barack only once. Barack Sr. died in 1982 before his son really got a chance to know him. Obama did not know his Kenyan family either. While he was living in Chicago, one of Obama's half siblings from Kenya, Auma, visited him. She suggested that Barack go to Kenya.
Obama visited his father's family in Kenya in 1988. He met many family members there. He also started felling at peace with his identity and his place in the world.
Law school
In the fall of 1988, Obama started his studies at Harvard Law School, in Cambridge,Massachusetts. Obama had made a difference while working in Chicago's poor neighboorhoods. However, he felt that he could help more people if he became a lawyer. That way, he could wold work to change laws and make sure everyone had a fair chnce.
At Harvard, Obama, became the first Afican-American president of the Harvard Law Review, a law journal. This was a big honor for him. As president of the Review, Obama got the chance to work with all types of people. He brcame good at getting pople to work toghether.

An Inspiring Story
Barack Obama is an Inspiration to many people. He is the first African American to become president of the United States, Obama's story proves that any child from any bacground can become the president.
When Obama ran for president in 2008, many people said that he was too young and too unknown to win. Some people claimed that the American people were not ready to pick an African American as their leader. However, Obama believed in both himself and the American people. Obama's hopeful plans for change in America inspired votes. He won the presidential election on November 4, 2008.
Achild of the world
Obama's parents met while they were students at the University of Hawaii. Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, was born in Kansas. His father, also named Barack Obama, came from Kenya. The pair came from very different world, and they were interested in each other's lives. In time, Obama's parents fell in love and got married. On August 4, 1961, young Barack was born.
Sadly, Barack's parent divorced when he was a young child. At first, Barack loved with his mother and grandparents in Hawaii. Later, Barack and his mother, who had gotten remarried, moved to Indonesia. This is where Barack's half sister Maya was born.

If I take my son to the mall
If I take my son goes to the mall, he'll probably buy some shirts. When he gets some shirts, he'll ask for some pans to wear with the shirts. After he has some pans, then he'll probably need a pair of shoes. When I buy a pair of shoes, he'll ask some socks. After he has all this, he'll need a beautiful coat. Then he tries them onl, he'll look in a mirror. If he looks the mirror, he might think he need a hat. I'll buy him a hat, he'll need some gloves.
After we finished shopping, he'll be tired and hungry. I'll take him to the Macdonald's, he'll ask for the hambuger. When he has a meal, he'll ask for something to drink. When he get a coke, he'll need a straw. When he's finished, he'll go to restroom. When I take him to the restroom, he'll wash his hands. After he washed his hand, he'll ask for paper towel to dry his hands. Then we come back, he'll need to go home. When we get home, he'll take a nap. If he takes a nap, he'll probably go to bed late at night. If he go to sleeps late, he won't get up early the next day. If he doesn't get up on time, he'll miss the bus. If he's late for the bus, he'll miss the class. If he can't go to school, he'll want to go to the mall.

The beautiful day of Autumn

At the park I seen alot of people here. Everyone was very happy and enjoyed the weather. Some young girls ran and talked to each other. Some other walked with their children on the strollers. Some young boys played ball, other old men walked with their dogs. I parked my car in the parking lot and took a walk. On my way alot of flowers, they was happy too. Some red some yellow and purple. They was so beautiful with the green leaves.
I walked about a half of mile, I saw the chair so I sat on that for some rest. In front of me lot of trees they have been living here for a long time. They don't have flowers on other hand their leaves so big and beatiful. Now is the fall they changed the color, some green some red and yellow. After that I looked around, some small rabits around they was happy too, when they saw me they came close and ask some foods. Some birds they flyed around and sang very beautiful songs.
It was a time I need to go, I stood up and went out of the park. Leaves was falling on the ground. The rabits ran behind me to aked more foods, the birds was singing.
This is a very nice day of the Autumn. I like it because the weather is not too hot or cold. In the Autumn all the plan are having beatifful flowers and all leaves are turning a different colors. In these day all animals are more happier than other seasons.
